A Letter From the Editor

“Fall” in Alabama brings erratic temperatures, close-approaching deadlines, and the unfortunate news of associate justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s passing. As an iconic leader in more ways than one, Ginsburg consistently fought for gender equality and defended the liberties and civil rights of multiple marginalized groups. While not many students are qualified to vote, we have a duty to act within our individual capacities, contributing as we can. Whether this means staying informed or helping others get registered to vote, it’s important to remember the combined impact individuals can bring about. However, it is understandably stressful to keep up with the crises after crises of the world at present. In this October issue, we hope to offer brief distractions through music reviews, poems, college insights, and reflections among others.

Stay safe, warm, and enjoy the October issue of the Woodward Post.

Best,

Carina
